Color Matched Edge Banding for Cabinet & Furniture Panels
Photos can be used for initial reference, but final color matching should be confirmed by physical board samples or laminate samples.
Custom PVC, ABS, and PP edge banding matched to your cabinet boards, laminate panels, wood grain surfaces, gloss levels, and decorative finishes.
What Can We Match?
FUJUAN supports color matched edge banding for cabinet manufacturers, furniture factories, distributors, and bulk buyers.
We can match:
– Solid color cabinet panels
– Wood grain decorative boards
– High gloss cabinet surfaces
– Matte and super matte panels
– Embossed and textured surfaces
– EGGER, Kronospan, Formica, Wilsonart, FENIX and other decor references
– PVC, ABS, and PP edge banding
Why Photos Are Not Enough?
Why Photos Are Not Enough for Final Color Matching?
Photos are helpful for initial communication, but they are not reliable enough for final color confirmation.
The same cabinet board can look different under different lighting, camera settings, screen displays, and viewing angles. This is especially true for white panels, dark panels, high gloss surfaces, matte finishes, and wood grain designs.
For accurate edge banding matching, FUJUAN recommends confirming the final color, gloss level, texture, and surface finish with physical board samples or laminate samples before bulk production.
- Step 1 : Send Samples
Send Your Reference Sample
Send us your physical sample (edge banding, board offcut, laminate, color swatch) or provide a color code (Pantone / RAL). Please include the key specs: material (PVC/PP), width, thickness, surface finish (matte/gloss), and texture/embossing.
Once received, we confirm your requirements and start the color-matching process immediately.
- Step 2 : Lab Dip / Sampling
Lab Dip in 3 Working Days
We match your target color using both visual assessment and instrument control (CIE Lab / ΔE). Trial samples are produced to verify color, gloss, texture, and overall appearance under different lighting conditions.
Sampling lead time: 3 working days after receiving your reference sample. Multiple finishes or textures can be provided for comparison if needed.
- Step 3 : Approval & Standard Lock
Sample Approval & Standard Lock
You review the physical sample and confirm the final standard. After approval, we lock the color formula, material batch standard, and production parameters to ensure stable consistency from the first lot to every repeat order.
Before mass production, we re-confirm specs, packaging, labeling, QC requirements, and shipping terms to avoid any mismatch.
- Step 4 : Bulk Production
Bulk Production with Clear Lead Time
After sample approval, we schedule production based on your order volume and delivery plan. Our capacity allows fast turnaround for large orders:
2 containers: production in 5–7 days
6 containers: production in 15–21 days
We provide production updates, QC checkpoints, and shipment-ready packing to keep your project on time.
Sample Matching Questions
Before sending samples, buyers often ask these questions about photos, board samples, color codes, gloss level, and bulk production confirmation.
Q1: Can you match edge banding by photos only?
Photos can be used for initial reference, but they are not enough for final color confirmation. Lighting, camera settings, and screen displays can change the appearance of color, gloss, and texture. Physical board samples are recommended before bulk production.
Q2: What sample should I send for color matching?
You can send a cabinet board sample, laminate sample, existing edge banding sample, or decor reference board. Please also provide the required material, thickness, width, finish, and estimated order quantity.
Q3: Can you match EGGER, Formica, Wilsonart, or Kronospan references?
Yes. Decor names and color codes can be used as references for initial matching. However, final confirmation should still be based on physical samples because surface finish and batch differences may affect the final appearance.
Q4: Can you match both color and gloss level?
Yes. We check not only color tone, but also gloss level, matte effect, texture direction, surface finish, and overall appearance to make the edge banding match the cabinet panel more closely.
Q5: How long does sample development take?
Sample development usually starts after we receive the physical sample and confirm the required material, size, finish, and matching target. For standard matching projects, sampling can usually be arranged within a few working days.
Q6: Is color matching suitable for bulk orders?
Yes. This service is mainly for cabinet manufacturers, furniture factories, distributors, wholesalers, and importers who need stable color matching for bulk production and repeat orders.
